  • 1Wastewater system and percolation area must be designed, constructed, operated and maintained per EPA Code of Practice for Domestic WWT Systems (PE ≤ 10) issued 7 June 2021 and drawing WTS01-001 (Nov 2024). Surface water must not infiltrate the system. A domestic grease trap must be installed. No surface water to be dispersed onto the public roadway. Only clean surface water diverted to adjacent streams.Wastewater Drainage
  • 2Prior to first occupation, a Certificate of Compliance signed by a suitably qualified and indemnified person must be submitted, including site-specific as-constructed drawings of the percolation trench/pipe and cross-section through the effluent treatment system. The treatment system must be tested per I.S. EN 12566.Compliance
  • 3Fire brigade vehicle access and water supplies must comply with the Chief Fire Officer. Sightlines must meet Carlow County Development Plan 2022-2028, Section 16.10.7. No interference with public road/footpath without a road opening licence per Guidelines for Managing Openings in Public Roads 2017.
