Data we process

Public planning data: application references, local authority, site descriptions, decision dates, outcomes, coordinates where published, source URLs, document categories, and refusal or condition reasons on record.Account data: name, email, password hash, verification status, session records, reset-token records, rate-limit records, and subscription entitlement information when billing is connected.Report and billing data: report inputs, generated report metadata, Stripe checkout identifiers, receipt records, and delivery email addresses.

Lawful basis

Public planning-record indexing is processed under legitimate interests: making public planning precedent searchable and source-linked while reducing unnecessary personal-data exposure.Account, report, and subscription processing is necessary for contract. Tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and security processing may be necessary for legal obligations or legitimate interests.

Processors and sharing

Operational processors may include hosting, database, email delivery, Stripe for payments and billing, and Plausible for cookieless analytics.We do not sell personal data. We do not use applicant contact details from planning files for marketing.

Retention and rights

Account and billing records are kept while needed for the service, legal obligations, security, and dispute handling. Public planning index records are retained while the source remains relevant to planning precedent unless a review requires restriction.You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or review of a displayed record by contacting the privacy address. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission.

DPIA

A DPIA summary is published at /dpia and should be reviewed before the first paid subscription and when new personal-data processing is added.
