198003: To carry out the following development at Ennis Fire Station, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare. Carry out works within the confines of Ennis Fire Station. The works involve the following: (i) To demolish/remove 1 No. steel storage shed and 1 No. block-built training facility, (ii) To replace the demolished/removed buildings with a new maintenance shed, (iii) To connect the new maintenance shed to existing site services, (iv) New concrete wash yard area, storage shed (2.1m x 2.1m) and retaining wall, (v) All associated site works pertaining to the new maintenance shed. In accordance with the Habitats Directive, Appropriate Assessment Screening has been carried out on the project. An environmental Impact Assessment ( EIA ) screening determination has been made and concludes that there is no real likelihood of significant effects on the environment arising from the proposed development. Any person may, within 4 weeks from the date of notice, apply to An Bord Pleanala for a screening determination as to whether the development would be likely to have significant effects on the environment and an EIA is not required
