The development will comprise of a single-storey extension to the existing Electrical Load Centre Building (LC6), of approx. 75sqm; modifications to LC6 that are required to accommodate the proposed extension, including elevational revisions to match proposed new extension; and all associated site development works. The development will be located on a site that currently operates under an Industrial Emissions (IE) License (P0009-04) under Part IV of the Environmental Protection Agency Act 1992 (as amended for the Protection of the Environment Act, 2003). The new development is on a site to which the Chemicals Act (Control of Major Accident Hazards Involving Dangerous Substances) Regulations 2015 (S.I.209 of 2015) applies.
