The proposed development consists of or comprises the carrying out of works to a protected structure. The proposed alterations to the structure include the removal of rear vestry annex and construction of a replacement extension. Parking for the proposed development is proposed to the north of the R629 in conjunction with the provision of public open space including playground, picnic and seating areas, vehicular and pedestrian entrances and coastal protection measures in the form of a revetment constructed of rock armour. Ancillary site development works consist of the construction of temporary wastewater treatment plant, surface water attenuation, water utility services and all ancillary site development, fencing and landscaping works.
