5386/22: PERMISSION & RETENTION: PROTECTED STRUCTURE: CTN Developments intend to apply for Retention Permission and Permission for development at St. Joseph's, Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 (permitted under Reg. Ref. 2991/15 and An Bord Pleanála Ref PL29N.245745), a residential development which is now almost complete and known as Grace Park Wood. The constructed revisions for which Retention Permission is sought relate to the public park at the entrance to Grace Park Wood and comprise of minor revisions to the alignment of the perimeter estate railing along the western boundary of the park with the Gate Lodge (a Protected Structure); provision of 6 no.visitor car parking spaces consolidated into one banked parking location rather than two at Grace Park View; slightly amended entrances to the park at Grace Park Road and internal estate roads within Grace Park Wood and amended alignment of pathways within public park and associated minor landscape changes. The proposed revisions for which Permission is sought also relate to the public park and comprise of replacement of the Ballylusk self-binding gravel surface finish and timber edging with a more robust and universally accessible black macadam surface finish with square top concrete kerb; replacement of reconstituted stone strip paving within mown grass with more robust and universally accessible consolidated areas of shot-blast exposed aggregate concrete surface finish and proposed band of concrete pavoirs 800mm wide to be provided underneath the perimeter estate railing around the park in order to facilitate ease of park maintenance.
