The development will consist of:- The temporary use (for the next 3 years 2022-2024 inclusive) of lands to the rear of the Holy cross Catholic Church and Parochial House for the erection of a temporary tent structure for use as an ice rink for a period not exceeding 17 weeks per year (October-January). the proposed development includes the provision of power and lighting, mobile toilets, plant, associated signage and all associated site and development works. The ice rink will have vehicular and pedestrian access from Main Street and the Dundrum Village Centre car park to the north. A pedestrian access route to Dundrum Town centre will be provided adjacent to Dundrum Bypass under Dom Marmion Bridge. The site has c.158 parking spaces at present and this number will be reduced to c.85 spaces for the duration of the temporary ice rink use.
