D24B/0443/WEB: We, Mr. & Mrs. Shane & Claire Phelan, intend to apply for Planning Permission for the following works at 15 Drummartin Close, Goatstown, Dublin 14, D14 F389, an existing semi-detached four-bedroom single dwelling; (i) demolitions to parts of the existing house to facilitate the creation of a new extension, namely the removal of part of the mono-pitched roof to the side (north) & front (east), the removal of the flat roof section over the existing front extension / entry porch, the removal of part of the hipped roof slope to the side (north) of the existing main roof & a small section of the front (east) slope of the main roof, the removal of the existing first floor landing window to the side wall (north) of the house, demolition of part of the front (east) & side (north) walls of the existing house at first floor level, including the removal of the front facing smaller bedroom window; (ii) construction of a new single-storey extension at first floor level, over part of the footprint of the existing ground floor extension, to the front (east) & side (north) of the existing house, part of the new first floor extension to have a hipped pitched roof & part to the front to have a flat-roof, all to accommodate a new fifth bedroom & an extended Bedroom Three, the house on completion of the proposed works to have a total of five bedrooms; (iii) provision of one new roof window to the front (east) slope of the extended main roof, part in the existing section of the roof and part in the proposed new section.
