D25A/0883/WEB: The development will consist of: (1) removal of existing guard hut and construction of a new welcome pavilion, incorporating a guardhouse with secure gated pedestrian access and egress routes and local modification of existing boundary railings; (2) replacement of the existing vehicle entrance, to include a secure vehicle inspection lock with folding gates and a setback portion of boundary fencing to replace existing railings; (3) placement of bollards along the footpath edge at both sides of the vehicular entrance; (4) change of use of a 70sq.m portion of the existing staff apartment block at ground floor to meeting space use, including modifications to door and window openings; (5) construction of a relocated bicycle and bin storage structure to replace existing umbrella-type structure; (6) construction of a pergola structure to the staff garden area; (7) phased removal of existing low quality coniferous boundary trees and replacement with mixed species deciduous trees; (8) construction of two 10m high flagpoles; (9) formation of a new pedestrian entrance gate to the north-western corner of the site; (10) construction of internal 2m high security fencing between visitor and garden areas; (11) relocation of 5no. parking spaces in a newly paved entrance forecourt and all associated site development and landscaping works.
