The development will consist of the alterations, extension, and external and internal refurbishment of the existing house, outbuilding, external store, and site including: a) retention and completion and alterations to the two storey extension to rear, the lobby under front entrance landing, and additional windows to west and north elevations, b) demolition of single-storey extension to north-west at rear of the main house and bay window to north wall, c) retention and localised repair of existing replacement roof finishes, windows and render, d) alterations to internal and external walls and openings, and replacement of fascia, soffit and rainwater goods to main house, e) provision of new internal linings, stairs, joinery, floor, wall and ceiling finishes and thermal insulation, including electrical and plumbing works, f) alterations to existing front entrance external landing and basement including reinstatement of salvaged sections of original staircase, g) construction of new contemporary single-storey extension and terrace to west side of house, h) conversion of the existing outbuilding into guest accommodation, including replacement of existing floors and roof structures, replacement of existing windows and doors and rainwater goods, provision of new rooflights, flue and 2 No. new window openings, internal alterations and fit out including thermal insulation and waterproofing, i) retention and completion of external store including alterations to elevations and roof, j) construction of a new wastewater treatment system including polishing filter and all associated landscaping, site development and external works.
