The importation of clean topsoil and subsoil in the subject site of 7.20 hectares in order that the site can be rendered suitable for planting native broadleaf forestry. It is proposed to improve approximately 3.80 ha of the site and it is estimated that this will require approximately 128,000 cubic metres of greenfield, inert soil and stone. The applicant also proposes to install a temporary site office and canteen, wheelwash, portaloo and carry out all ancillary site works. The application relates to an activity requiring a Waste Facility Permit from the Kildare County Council. Revised by significant information consisting of; an Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) was submitted.
