The construction of a 900 PE wastewater treatment plant and demolition of the existing treatment works. The development will consist of inlet works, a storm tank, treatment works, sludge treatment, a control panel and welfare kiosk, a 2.4m high security fence and a scheme identification sign. Upgrade works to the existing pumping station including the development of a valve chamber, flood gate, internal plant and external finishes. Replacing an existing rising main that extends from the pumping station to the wastewater treatment plant located within regional road R524 with a 475m long rising main. All associated site development and site excavation works above and below ground for the wastewater treatment plant, pumping station and rising main. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of this planning application
