For the following development:- The construction of approximately 0.8 km of new canal section 1.6 m deep with average bed width of 8m and surface water width of 18m, the provision of a vehicular towpath and pedestrian pathway access along the canal section, the construction of a marina and amenity area for 36 boat moorings and 48 car parking spaces, pedestrian access to the R212 Scotshouse Road, vehicle access onto the N54 Cavan Road, the construction of new access bridges at Teehill and Clonfad Bridge, the construction of a new canal aqueduct on the Lackey River, the refurbishment of the original canal aqueduct on the Lackey River and the original canal bridge at Teehill, including alteration to the existing under-path to heritage approved standards
