Permission for a development consisting of (i) removal of external finishes/cladding and partial demolition of existing commercial building and subdivision of remaining building to provide 5 no. retail units in 2 no. blocks with a total gross floor area of 4,340sq.m (net retail area 3,038sq.m) (ii) Change of use from a commercial factory premises to a retail use (iii) construction of new facades, service doors and roller shutter doors (iv) provision of 113 no. additional car parking spaces (including 11 no. disabled car parking spaces) adjacent to the proposed retail units (v) construction of single storey ESB substation (24.5 sq.m) with the main ESB access door off the Rope Walk footpath (vi) vehicle access to the site from Plantation Road (vii) all associated engineering, landscape works, signage and ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the development.
