SD03A/0997: A residential development incorporating neighborhood facilities. The proposed development consists of 610 residential units, a purpose built creche (circa 420 sq.m.), a gymnasium/swimming pool (circa 1,165 sq.m.) and a public house/restaurant (circa 1,282 sq.m.) all on a site approx. 9.7 hectares (24 acres) at Ballyboden, Dublin 16, located on the southern side of Scholarstown Road and bounded on the eastern side by Stocking Lane, on the southern side by Dublin City Council Ballyboden Waterworks and on the western side by existing houses at Woodfield. The residential element consists of a mix of 15 No. 2 storey plus attic detached 5 bed houses, 27 No. 3 bed 2 storey townhouses and 568 No. 1, 2, and 3 bed apartments located in 15 No. 3, 4 and 5 storey blocks with access points off both Scholarstown Road and Stocking Lane, both of which will be realigned. The application is to include demolition of existing house, over ground and underground parking, landscaped open spaces, screen walls, boundary treatments, storage units, cycle paths and all associated site and infrastructural works including foul and surface water outfalls. An Environmental Impact Statement has been submitted to the Planning Authority as part of this planning application.
