Retention and completion of works as follows: alterations to the internal layouts, external elevations and materials of Blocks 1 and 2 of the Griffeen Local Centre permitted under planning reference SD04A/0802 to generally provide for - Block 1: the amalgamation of permitted retail units 1 & 2 to now provide for one c. 194sq.m. retail unit with amended shopfront including new single doorway on the south elevation; internal modifications including relocated stair and lift core with two new door openings onto the eastern elevation of Block 1; additional doorways also proposed to the crèche facility on the northern and southern elevations; permitted ground and first floor lobby medical centre to be revised and include a set back by a further c. 1.2 metres of the ground floor entrance from its permitted position; the infill of the permitted first floor void over crèche to now provide for c. 48sq.m. reception waiting area for the permitted medical facility. Block 2 - reduction in the floor area of the first floor level above permitted shop units 3 & 4, by the removal of the 1.8m overhanging section of these upper units; no change to the front elevation of the building results; provision of a new 9.4sq.m. ATM facility, provided by extended the western elevation by c. 3.7 metres and the southern elevation by c. 2.8 meters to infill the south west corner of Block 2; the provision of a revised shopfront for permitted retail unit No. 7 including relocated ground floor entrance and one new doorway on the eastern elevation of the first floor; revisions to the permitted ESB substation and switch room on the eastern elevation of Block 2 to now provide for one relocated c. 20.8sq.m. ESB substation and one relocated c. 14.7sq.m. switchroom with new combined entrance also providing access to a new 50.8sq.m. secure refuse storage area to the rear; the permitted stair core on the western elevation is to be extended in width by 1.4 meters to facilitate the inclusion of a lift; the insertion of a new doorway with additional glazing on the northern elevation of permitted retail unit 3. Permission is also sought for the retention and completion of the relocation eastwards by 6m of the permitted gates between Blocks 1 and 2 which provide secure access to the rear service yard.
