Application description published by South Dublin County Council.
Retain 3 no. existing buildings on site for residential use and extend the front and rear garden areas of the dwelling. The applicant proposes the linking of 2 no. detached buildings (referred to as building no. 1 & 2) to the existing dwelling to form a domestic extension. Building no. 1 is a bungalow type structure and is currently in residential use. Permission is sought to alter the roof of building no. 1 from gable end roof to pitched roof and add a single storey with pitched roof extension (3.6m2) to link to the existing dwelling at ground floor level. Building no. 2 is a split level building and has no current use. Permission is sought to add a single storey link with pitched roof (1.6m2) to link building no. 1 to the upper level of building no. 2 at ground floor level. The upper floor of the building will be used as an extension to the dwelling. The lower level of the building no. 2 will remain unused. Building no. 3 is a split level building and has no current use. Permission is sought to insert garage door and retain upper level of structure as a garage with storage for ancillary domestic use only. The lower level of the building will remain unused. Permission is sought for 1.5m boundary wall to front of the extended dwelling and extend front garden by 296m2. This will extend the existing garden area. Permission is sought for 2m boundary wall to rear of the extended dwelling and to extend rear garden of the dwelling by 536m2.
