Addition of new storey with floor area of 328sq.m. on top of the footprint of existing single storey retail units including Open Sesame newsagent, Freshways Deli, Superduper Supermarket and Shamooze Hair Salon to create a two storey building with a pitched roof of 9.7m in height; the new floor will be accessed via a two stairwell and lift/entrance lobby (37sq.m.) at ground floor including staff areas/wc and 17sq.m. entrance lobby at first floor; the stairwell/lobby areas replace the existing Shamooze Hair Salon (28sq.m.) and part of Superduper Supermarket (34sq.m.); a public house (114sq.m.) and restaurant (88sq.m.), common toilets & lobbies (61sq.m.) are proposed at first floor level with glazed atrium (37.5sq.m.) and smoking area (9.5sq.m.); a solar panel is proposed at the front of the roof; a single storey extension (47sq.m.) is proposed to the side of Superduper Supermarket to the side yard for storage purposes; structural support columns are proposed within existing retail units and 2 no. fire escape stairs are proposed to the rear (eastern) elevation and a fire escape door is proposed to the boundary wall (north); and associated site works.
