SD17A/0199: New permanent vehicular entrance at the north-eastern side of the school grounds for emergency vehicle access and to give access from Orwell Park to a proposed on-site Staff Car Park. Permission is also sought to relocate the existing pedestrian entrance at the north-eastern corner westwards along the northern boundary and to create a new pedestrian entrance on the western side from Rossmore Road. Please note that this proposal supersedes the intention to reinstate the temporary vehicular access permitted under Application SD15A.0372 granted on March 21st 2016. The proposed works will include the removal of 3 trees on the grass verge on Orwell Park to improve sight lines to the proposed vehicular entrance, the removal of 2 trees on the school grounds, the construction of a new 15 space staff car park and modifications to the internal footpath network.
