10 Year Permission for 2 no new grass pitches (GAA size); 1 no new 3G (synthetic surface) multi-functional sports area (GAA size) with associated floodlighting mounted on 9 no 21.34m high columns with a range of 12-20 no. floodlights per column; 3m high fencing around pitch perimeters; 5m high fencing behind soccer goal areas; 16m high ball nets to rear of GAA goal areas, 2 no new outdoor tennis courts with associated 3m high perimeter fencing around the southern, eastern & northern perimeter of the courts with associated floodlighting mounted on 4 no. 10m high columns with 2 no floodlights per column; a 6m high by 37m long hurling wall along the western perimeter of the tennis courts; provision of mezzanine floor (221m2 gfa) within existing Strength & Conditioning building; 1 no ESB substation (23m2); attenuation tank (1700m3); all ancillary site development and landscape works, including re-grading of pitch areas and associated landscaping and boundary treatments, including running track around perimeter of proposed pitches; provision of additional 21 no carparking spaces. Proposed vehicular access is via existing vehicular entrance from R498 Nenagh Road and it is proposed to use the existing surface car park area serving existing campus; access for coach parking associated with the playing facilities will be via the existing entrance serving Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre off the Jimmy Doyle Road; all on a site of 16.2Ha.
