The demolition/removal of external stairs and detached buildings to build an extension to the rear of the building with car parking and new access. The extension will consist of a part single part two storey building. It will be located to the north of the existing college and will have a flat roof. It will include classrooms and ancillary uses at ground level, a new entrance foyer, fire escape stairs, lift and will also include fire escape from the existing building and staff facilities at first floor level. The development will include a new car park and entrance to the rear (North) with access from St. Nicholas Park. The existing vehicular entrance will be widened. The development will include all associated site works, landscaping and services. The landscaping will include soft and hard surfaces, ramps and steps, a new deck area to the west of the existing building, a new courtyard area with a podium adjacent to the new entrance and covered bicycle parking
