Development at this site which consists of an 18 metre tall communications lattice tower mast, as a revised design of the 30 metre tall proposed mast included in previous planning application reference 20/732, for the construction of a vehicle storage building and mast for the Irish Coastguard Service at their existing site. The proposed 18 metre mast is for the exclusive use of the Coastguard Service using only VHF frequencies and is proposed to be located at the southern edge of the site as the previous application. A Natura Impact Statement has been submitted in support of this application
