Retention permission is also sought for a biomass storage area (4.7km linear log storage space equating to 24,910 tonnes of wet logs), a low steel post and rail fence with gates at the entrance from the L1113), unpaved access tracks (4.7km) in length, a paved roadway (120m total length from the site entrance) and all ancillary works. The log storage area or long pile is linear with a diameter of c. 4m and up to a height of 4.1m. There is no storage of chipped biomass on site. This site will be operational until 2030.
