To RETAIN change of use from apartment to office accommodation

To RETAIN the following developments at The Queens Hotel, ( a Protected Structure ), Abbey Street, Ennis, Co. Clare.: 1) Change of use of ground floor reception area to cafeteria, together with internal alterations, 2) Change of use of first floor residents' lounge area to hotel reception area, 3) Alteration of frontage to that portion of the hotel known as "Number Forty One", including removal of timber frontage, provision of new signage and provision of tiling to external walls, 4) Provision of timber sign with raised lettering to front of hotel premises at corner of Abbey Street and Francis Street

To construct an in fill mezzanine floor and reinstate blocked up windows to alleyway.

The works will consist of the following: a. Proposed 2 no. sets of bronze plated columbarium units to be fitted into an existing unused space in an internal porch. b. White oak trims to units and white oak veneer mdf panelling to the surround to the Columbarium units. The Franciscan Church is a Protected Structure RPS No. 755.

For development at (Record of Protected Structure No. 742). The area of the existing ground floor is 191.7m² and first floor is 134.5m². The development will consist of the following and all associated site works and services: 1) Change of use of the existing ground and first floor from office to language school. 2) Internal modifications comprising of the following: 3) New wall construction for stair lobbies. 4) Subdivision of the ground floor reception room into an office and reception. 5) Enlarging existing door openings. 6) New disabled wc to the ground floor. 7) Construction of new doors to the ground and first floors. 8) Fire rating of the existing first floor. 9) New fire rated doors. 10) Connection to existing services and all associated site development works
