A 38KV grid connection cable and associated infrastructure to connect the approved Johnstown North solar farm (consented under planning ref. 171497) to the existing Arklow 220kV Substation comprising the laying of a 3,190m Underground Cabling (UGC) and associated infrastructure, located at Dublin Road, Arklow, Co. Wicklow

Solar farm within a site area of approximately 39 hectares consisting of solar photovoltaic panels covering an area of up to 27.2 ha on ground mounted steel frames, 1 no on site substation, 8 no inverter / transformer stations, underground cables and ducts, boundary security fence, new internal tracks, CCTV cameras and all associated site services. Permission is sought for a period of 10 years

To amend the design of the approved development (Planning Reference: 17/1497) which comprises a Solar PV Energy Development. Proposed amendments include (1) change in location and size of substation, (2) two additional temporary construction compounds will be located at the site entrances, (3) the number of modules will decrease, (4) the number of pile driven poles will decrease, (5) the size and number of transformer stations will increase, (6) the total fencing area will increase (7) the total amount of fencing posts will increase, (8) up to 21 CCTV cameras will be installed (9) access tracks will be optimised and increased in width and length, and (10) increase in operational lifetime from 25 years to 35years

Demolition of existing storage shed, a new shed to serve as house ancillary storage and hobby shed to store vintage cars and associated site development works

Demolition of existing single storey shed and garage to rear, construction of new part single storey part storey and a half extension containing 2 dormer windows to rear, removal of existing septic tank and new replacement proprietary effluent treatment system and all associated site works

Construction of a bungalow with garage and car port, new entrance and access driveway, new treatment system and percolation area to current EPA standards and all ancillary site works
