Planning precedent report

For construction of a new water treatment building, three number of water storage tanks approximately 12 meters high, a pipe bridge for services between the water tanks, proposed water treatment and existing building. The site currently operates under EPA License. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will accompany this planning application

For the demolition of existing plant room (ground floor footprint 70m2); construction of a new bag filter building extension (ground floor footprint of 155m2) with plant at roof level adjoining the existing dryer facility; drainage and all associated site works. The site currently operates under an EPA Industrial Emissions License. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will accompany this planning application. SIGNIFICANT FURTHER INFORMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED.

For development consisting of extension to existing facility, the proposed works include (1) erect a new 6 storey 42m high dryer plant (6,522m2) adjoining the existing dryer facility, (2) erect a 2 storey adjoining building (746m2) with changing facilities and canteen at ground floor with offices at first floor, (3) construct a new entrance on to and exit from the N3 including road improvement work to the N3 with a new right turning junction to access the facility, (4) construct a new single storey security hut (28m2) and reception (36m2), (5) construct 218 new car parking spaces, (6) construct a new milk intake building (487 m2), (7) alterations to the existing silo farm and construction of a single storey silo access building (112m2) between silos, (8) construct 4 no new storage silos (9) upgrade works to the waste water treatment plant including extension to administration building (20m2) and miscellaneous site works including underground drainage, landscaping, provision of 2 no. new weighbridges, diesel fill area, truck wash and oil-water separators, internal road works, closure of existing entrance onto and exit from the N3 and removal of existing car parking spaces. The site currently operates under EPA Licence Reg No. P0405-2. An Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR), formerly known as an EIS will be submitted as part of this application. Significant further information and revised plans (revised entrance design and location and revised car park layout) and a Natura Impact Statement has been submitted

For the replacement of approximately 80m of existing 2.4m high chainlink perimeter fencing with new 2.4m green palisade security fencing/gates and installation of approximately 3m of additional 2.4m high green palisade security fencing, including associated access/emergency gates and all associated site works at an existing Above Ground Natural Gas Installation

To extend existing floating marina (granted previously under Planning Ref. No. 10/102) and all associated site works. Significant further information including a Natura Impact Statement and revised plans have been received

To retain the following alterations made during the course of construction of development previously approved under Planning Ref. No: 05/224; (a) retain revised position of dwelling and detached domestic garage on site; (b) retain revised roof design on garage (c) retain position of sewage treatment unit and percolation area on site; (d) retain revised site boundaries
