For the phased extraction of 2.9 hectares of sand and gravel over a period of 7 years, on land located in the townland of Ballymaloney. The proposed development includes for the provision of a new site entrance and vehicular access road; on site wheel wash facility; new drainage channel, silt fence and settlement pond; landscaping and buffer planting on the eastern site boundary including a 3m high embankment with hawthorn hedging adjoining the public road; and site restoration works. To refurbish and extend the existing dwelling house, refurbish 2 no. attached sheds to the left and right of the existing dwelling house and incorporate into the refurbished and extended dwelling house, demolish and rebuild an existing stone building and incorporate into the refurbished and extended dwelling house, demolish a dilapidated shed, install a new wastewater treatment system, along with ancillary site works

For to demolish old "outhouses", extend existing dwelling house, install an effluent system, new entrance and all associated site works

To RETAIN alterations to elevations and roof of existing house together with all associated site works

For the demolition of a front porch and rear extension, construction of a new two storey extension to the rear of the property and all associated site works.

For development which will consist of the importation of inert excavation spoil comprising natural materials of clay, silt, sand, gravel or stone for the purpose of restoration of a previously extracted area ( 1.08ha) within Ballyquin Pit.
