The proposed development consists of the following works: (1) Demolition of existing Inlet Works and replacement with new Inlet Works including a Dual Function Overflow Chamber, Flume, Screens, and Grit and Grease removal units; (2) Decommissioning of the existing Storm Water Tank and the Storm Water Overflow (SWO) outfall at the WwTP; (3) New Dual Function Overflow outfall pipe connection from the new WwTP Inlet Works to the single outfall to the Cabra Stream (Glyde_010); (4) 1 no. new underground Storm Water Holding Tank and associated SWO outfall pipe connection via a single outfall to the Cabra Stream (Glyde_010), adjacent to the WwTP; (5) 1 no. new underground drainage attenuation tank; (6) Outfall Pumping Station and new Primary Discharge Outfall pipe from the WwTP (ca. 3km) to the River Lagan (Glyde_020); (7) Chemical storage tanks and dosing equipment for alkalinity boosting phosphorus removal and sludge treatment; (8) 1 no.
