Planning precedent report

For the expansion and redevelopment of the Clare GAA Centre of Excellence facility and all ancillary site works. The proposed development includes (i) The construction of a 1-2 storey extension to the existing Clare GAA Centre of Excellence building accommodating additional player welfare facilities including new dressing rooms, a gymnasium, dining and administrative areas. (ii) A new equipment store building (iii) 2 no. new full length playing pitches (Pitch Nos 5 and 6). (iv) The construction of a new all-weather synthetic playing pitch served by 6 no. 25 metre high floodlights and perimeter fencing (A Change of plan from that previously granted by Planning Reference 19/297) (v) the construction of a new hurling 'ball-wall' adjacent to the proposed all-weather synthetic playing pitch (vi) The installation of 12 no 25 metre high floodlights serving existing Pitch Nos 3 and 4 (vii) The construction of new covered spectator stand serving Pitch 3. (viii) And the provision of dedicated area to the north of the existing centre of excellence building to be used as an occasional farmers/local market. Ancillary site works include the resurfacing of car parking areas, ball-stop netting serving each of the proposed pitches, public allotments and sensory garden areas

For the construction of a synthetic all-weather playing pitch ( 145m x 85m ), the installation of 6 No. Floodlighting Masts ( 25m high ) with a floodlighting average spread of 500 lux at pitch level, the installation of behind goal netting ( 35m long x12m high ) and associated site works at Clare GAA Sports Facility. ( Planning Permission for this all-weather pitch and associated floodlighting was previously granted under planning reference P05-1416, P08-961, and P10-22).

For the following; 1. Two storey dwelling including garage structure to rear, 2. new entrance gate, piers and driveway 3. effluent treatment system percolation area and bore well 4. and all necessary site works and services

To revise the boundaries granted under reference P21/408, thus reducing the site area

To construct single dwelling house with garage, wastewater treatment and percolation area, all associated site works and connections to services and new entrance from public road

To construct a new dwelling ( to replace existing sub-standard dwelling), including new proprietary treatment unit and percolation area, including all ancillary site works and using existing entrance, and also to demolish existing sub-standard dwelling
