Site planning risk brief

Retention of an existing development on this site. The development consists of an existing 25 metre high telecommunications support structure carrying telecommunications equipment, together with existing equipment container and associated equipment within a fenced compound as previously granted under Planning Reg. No. 11/6678. The development will continue to form part of Meteor Mobile Communications Ltd existing and future telecommunications and broadband network.

To replace an existing 25 metre monopole telecommunications support structure with a new 40 metre multi-user lattice telecommunications support structure, carrying antenna and dishes and to extend the compound enclosed by a 2.4 metre high palisade fence together with associated ground equipment cabinets and associated site works.

Retention permission of an existing telecommunications support structure (previously granted under Plan Ref No. 06/9740) together with associated ground equipment within a fenced compound and access track.

The construction of a new dwelling house and domestic garage, installation of a bored well, septic tank and percolation area, widening of the existing agricultural entrance to facilitate the site entrance and all associated site works.

Extension of existing car-parking area to north and west of main entrance front of the hotel, realignment of part section of the existing entrance road at the main entrance to allow for a new formal landscaping feature and turning area and all associated site and landscaping works. The development is within the curtilage of Protected Structures: Castlemartyr House RPS No.00534, Castlemartyr Castle RPS No.00535 & Castlemartyr Tower House RPS No.00968.

1) the construction of new single storey porte cochere and canopy to north side of the existing contemporary wing of the existing three storey hotel, 2) the external & internal alterations, elevational changes and renovation of the existing comprising (in conjunction with the aforementioned extensions of the ballroom, 3) realignment of existing internal road and all associated site works and amended landscaping works, 4) the conversion of existing suite bedroom to male, female and universal accessible wc’s and 5) all ancillary site works.
