Permission for development at and adjoining ‘The Quarry’, Westport Estate, Westport, Co. Mayo (and adjacent ‘The Farmyard’, a Protected Structure) amending Planning Permission Reference P20/295 (which permitted an Adventure Park), comprising alteration, omission and addition to the form and position of permitted ‘Park Attractions’ and all associated and ancillary development and works above and below ground level.

PROVISION OF AN ADVENTURE PARK WITHIN THE WESTPORT DEMESNE, LOCATED AT THE DISUSED QUARRY WITHIN PART OF THE ADJOINING WOODLANDS. THE PROPOSED ADVENTURE PARK (OVERALL PLAN AREA OF 1.7 HECTARES) WILL CONSIST OF A VISITORS ENTRANCE BUILDING, (158SQM)- PROVIDING ENTRANCE TURNSTILES, PUBLIC TOILETS, ANCILLARY RETAIL, STAFF FACILITIES, STORES AND ANCILLARY SERVICES AND PARK ATTRACTIONS TO INCLUDE A NET PARK, LARGE SWING, JUNIOR SWING, ZIP LINE, CLIMBING ROPES, SLIDE, CLIMBING/ABSEILING TOWER AND ACTIVITY GARDEN ALL WITH ASSOCIATED LANDSCAPING, SEATING AREA, SITE SERVICES, LIGHTING, WALKWAYS, BOUNDARY TREATMENT AND ALL ASSOCIATED SITE WORKS

Permission for development at the (new) Adventure Park at the Quarry, Westport Estate, Westport, Co. Mayo, and adjoining ‘The Farmyard’ (a Protected Structure) area, comprising additional and revised hard and soft landscaping, adventure and play features (including Slide Cover Structure (at bottom landing) c. 4.6m high, Climbing Tower c. 9.9m high, Totem Pole c. 4.5m high, and Assorted small scale (<3m high) play and sensory features) within the (currently under construction) Adventure Park, and all associated and ancillary works and development above and below ground (in part overlapping / amending existing Planning Permission References: P20/295 & P23/60189).
