The demolition of existing switch room and an existing drum store and the construction of a new 3 storey manufacturing building to the east of the existing manufacturing building. At ground floor level the new manufacturing building will comprise warehouse area with two loading docks, a main production area, changing facilities, entrance area, offices, circulation corridors, workshops and a quality control laboratory. First floor level will comprise laboratory accommodation, offices, meeting rooms, circulation corridors, mechanical and electrical plant rooms. Second floor level will comprise process, mechanical and electrical plantrooms and circulating corridors. External works will comprise: The provision of a new internal road serving the south side of the main production building and along the west side serving the new central utilities building and drum store. The hard-standing area between the drum store and central utilities building to accommodate a process regenerative thermal oxidiser accessible by a service road between CUB and drum store. The provision of a hard-standing area east of the drum store and central utilities building accommodating a replacement switch room, regenerative thermal oxidiser serving the WWTP, a fire water storage tank, a used pallet storage area, a pump house, a foam pump house and an area to locate emergency generators. The height of the existing fire water retention pond is to be increased by 500mm for increased capacity. Planning permission for increase in floor area at first floor level by 68.5m² for office use, located in the existing double height entrance lobby, to our existing office and manufacturing building at Tullagreen, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork, T45KD29. The proposed development is for modifications to an existing manufacturing establishment to which the Major Accidents Directive applies. Permission for alterations and revisions to the previously approved planning reference number 22/4839. The proposed changes include a reduction in the size of the T7 building and an expansion of the pump house footprint (total 5.6m2 increase in total floor area). Modifications to the permanent bridge are also proposed, involving adjustments to its external materials and dimensions. Site-wide landscaping updates are planned, along with the installation of high-level signage on the IC4 production building.
