Erect a 2 storey extension to the student accommodation building, known as the White Cottage

Retain an extension as constructed to Ballymaloe Cookery School, on foot of the original planning permission 96/755. The building is larger than original permitted, and consists of the following spaces; 1) a ground floor shop, a kitchen and a dining area with a sun-room, an atrium together with toilet facilities for students of the cookery school. 2) a basement area directly under the dining room and sunroom, which is used for storage and as a mechanical plant room, and 3) a storage area on the first floor above the ground floor kitchen

Permission to construct a single storey prefabricated timber structure for use as a horticultural classroom and to construct a single storey permanent structure to be used as a dairy classroom and all associated site development works.

To erect a 2-storey extension to the student accommodation building, known as the White Cottage. This application is for a change of plan only from that permitted under Planning Reg. No. 18/4287

Retention of 1) Extensions to the building known as the “Coach House” as follows; construction of an extension to stairwell at front of building, construction of a single storey sunroom to rear of building, construction of a first floor space over existing single storey storage building and conversion of this building to student accommodation at rear of building, construction of a single storey bathroom and dressing area, also for student accommodation use at rear of building, 2) Extension to building known as the “Pink Cottage” consisting of construction of 2 storey toilet block to the side of the building, which is used to service the existing student accommodation in that building, 3) Conversion of space within the building know as the “Play house”, involving the creation of additional student accommodation on 2 floors.

1) Retention of a container compound with 9 no. containers used for farmer's market food preparation and food storage (Area 1), 2) Retention of a caravan used as a seasonal coffee dock during summer months (Area 1), 3) Retention of waste water treatment unit & percolation area servicing container compound (Area 1) and 4) Retention and completion of partially built permanent reception building (Area 2) and all associated site development works.
