The demolition of 3No. existing prefabricated classrooms and the construction of a two storey 4No. classroom extension (Total Area 458sqm) including meeting room, toilets and covered link walkway to existing secondary school with associated site works.

Modifications to the previously permitted development under Cork County Council Ref. No. 19/4518 to include the construction of a two-metre high wall and railing to separate the Presentation Convent and St. Brigid's Catholic Church (Protected Structure Reference No. 00643) and all associated ancillary site development works.

Construction of a vehicular access to the existing Presentation Convent including the partial removal of an existing wall and the construction of a low level stone entrance wall on to the access road serving St. Brigids Church (Protected Structure), the construction of a pedestrian crossing on the R612 road and the provision of new pedestrian access on to the R612 to serve the existing Colaiste Muire Secondary School and all associated ancillary site development works.

Demolish an existing (27.5sqm) single storey main entrance lobby with stairs and carry out minor alterations to the existing facades and construct a new main entrance lobby with lift and staircase linking four levels, a single storey extension to the west including a mainstream classroom with associated toilets and a 2 classroom Special Educational Need Unit with associated multiactivity space, office, storage, toilets and back-up rooms (total area of new lobby and extension 683sq.m), a re-orientated existing basketball court, secure play areas, a sensory garden and a staff car park with 6 no. spaces and alterations to the existing site entrance on the north boundary, west of the school, to include new pillars and gates with all associated site works.

The demolition and reconstruction of the existing retaining boundary wall in the eastern perimeter of the site and all associated site works at Templebreedy National School, a protected structure (RPS ID No. 0001390).

Construction of a dwelling house, detached domestic use garage & all other associated site works. An existing septic tank is to be decommissioned & removed as part of this proposal.
