The development will consist of the provision of an internally illuminated totem sign with a total height of 9.087 metres including a base pole of 6 metres and signage with a maximum height of 3.087 metres.

Permission for the construction of a high-power electric vehicle charging station consisting of 24 no. electric vehicle charging bays and all associated ancillary development including 2 no. electricity sub-stations, 24 no. power supply cabinets, pedestrian access, boundary treatments, landscaping and seating area at the Circle K service station. Vehicular access will be via the existing access and roundabout serving the existing Circle K motorway station. A Natura Impact Statement has been submitted to the planning authority with the application.

Permission for A high-power electric vehicle charging hub and associated infrastructure consisting of the following: 1) installation of 10 no. electric vehicle charging with 5 no. associated charging units to replace 12 no. existing car parking spaces, 2) installation of a new canopy above EV charging spaces with internally illuminated signage, 3) new EV banner sign, 4) relocation of existing lighting columns and electrical cabinet, 5) installation of a new ESB substation and 6) all other associated site development, landscaping, road tie in and surface water drainage works

Retention of 1 no. car wash plant room and permission for the construction of 1 no. car wash and associated structures, the erection of 7 no. signs and 10 no. flagpoles and all associated ancillary development at the existing Motorway Service Area previously permitted under Cork County Council Ref. 14/6188 (An Bord Pleanala Ref. PL 04.244411)

Permission for a development to be constructed in two phases. The development will consist of the construction of a new three storey extension (with rooftop plant and equipment), containing laboratories and office accommodation, extension to the canteen facilities, and all associated site works, carparking and road network.

The subject application principally proposes the provision of a drive-thru facility at the existing restaurant and the change of use of the existing service access route to a drive thru laneway. The proposed development also includes directional road marking, a goal post height restrictor at the entrance to the laneway; 2 no. new customer ordering points with canopy tops; 3 no. double digital menuboards (1.64m x 0.1m x 2.1m); 1no. single digital menu board (0.8m x 0.1m x 2.1m); change of use of the existing service layby to 1 no. grill parking bay adjacent to the west elevation of the restaurant building; ‘pay’ and ‘collection’ graphics added to the pay and collection windows respectively along the west elevation of the restaurant building; and a new 15’’ digital marketing screen installed in the collection window along the west elevation; and all associated site works above and below ground.
