Heavy Atmospheric Gas Oil (HAGO) project located within the Whitegate Oil Refinery. The proposed HAGO development principally comprises a 35m high steel reactor and a 27m high steel vacuum column. It will be provided with steel access platforms and pipework connections to existing facilities. A new remote instrument building that stores the control hardware will also be included. The proposed HAGO development will be placed on a concrete foundation at ground level, with surface water drainage routed to existing facilities. There will be no continuous emissions from the proposed development. The proposed development is for the purposes of an activity which holds an existing Industrial Emissions Licence. The proposed development relates to modifications to an establishment within the meaning of Part 11 (Major Accidents Directive) of Planning and Development Regulations, 2001 as amended.
