Site planning risk brief

The development will consist of the construction of a wastewater treatment scheme for the village of Inchigeelagh. Permission is sought for the following components of the scheme; 1. Below ground pumping station (PS) with emergency storage capacity, control kiosk and boundary treatment, to be located on the north bank of the River Lee, just to the east of Inchigeelagh Bridge. 2. Wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for a population equivalent of 292 people with associated and ancillary development works including tanks, kiosks, inlet works, hardstanding and boundary fencing. 3. Outfall pipe to convey treated effluent from the WWTP to the River Lee. 4. Access road from the R584 road to the WWTP site with boundary treatment. 5. Access road from the WWTP site to the PS site. 6. All associated ancillary site development works above and below ground.

Permission for the construction of 10 no. residential units (comprising a mix of 2 and 3 bed semi-detached and terraced units and all associated site works including a connection to the public sewer, modifications to an existing vehicular entrance and roadway, a new vehicular entrance, footpaths, parking, drainage, landscaping and public amenity areas

Permission for a) demolition of former garda station building, b) construction of dwelling house, c) construction of domestic garage, d) widening of existing entrance & e) all associated site works

Permission for construction of new detached building consisting of mainstream classroom, 2 no. SET rooms, office, storage, toilets and circulation area, proposed new boiler room, together with permission for the demolition of existing shelter and all other ancillary site works

Permission for the construction of a new detached building consisting of mainstream classroom, 2 no. SET rooms, office, storage, toilets and circulation area (with internal layout and elevational changes to that previously granted under planning reference number 24/4101, proposed new boiler room, together with permission for the demolition of existing shelter along with all other ancillary site works.

Alterations and extensions to existing school consisting of 2 no. SET rooms with circulation area, extension of existing toilets block on either side of the school building together with all other ancillary site works.
