The construction of a new two storey extension to the existing administration building consisting of an infill first floor within the existing building, a new stairwell to the east along with modifications to the existing north, west and east elevations with associated ancillary works at the existing facility. The facility is subject to an Integrated Pollution Prevention and a Control License.

Janssen Pharmaceutical Sciences Unlimited Company intends to apply to Cork County Council for full planning permission for the construction of an extension to the existing staircore by adding an additional storey to facilitate a stairs from level 3 to roof level to provide safe roof access along with the construction of a plant support platform and screening on the existing roof of the Dryer Building at the existing facility at Wallingstown, Little Island, Co. Cork. The proposed development is for modifications to an establishment to which the Major Accidents Directive applies. The establishment is subject to an Integrated Pollution Prevention and a Control License and is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency. Under the proposed development the site will remain in compliance with all regulatory requirements under existing license condition.

(1) The demolition of the existing entrance canopy, (2) the construction of a new covered staff entrance with turnstiles and (3) alterations to the existing car park to construct a new HGV entrance with new barriers and associated ancillary works at their existing facility. The facility is subject to an Integrated Pollution Prevention and a Control License.

Permission for the demolition of an existing 27m high boiler stack and replacement with a new 27m high stack which will cater for the existing boilers and new air heaters, a new external platform to house two number new air heaters, and associated plant, equipment and equipment enclosures and associated site works at the existing facility.

The modification of the existing process building and elevations, to include the installation of three external platforms with associated doors for plant and equipment access, the modification of an existing window, additional roof plant and equipment, and associated site works at the existing facility

Retention Permission for material alterations to existing warehousing/manufacturing building adjacent to Crest Solutions existing building, including the formation of a new first floor within the overall envelope of the existing building and extension of Crest Solutions into that building to provide offices, canteen, sanitary facilities and engineering area. With alterations to existing north east elevation to provide additional fenestration, with all associated site works.
