The installation of a solar photovoltaic (PV) Array (Proposed Area = 1132m2) on the roof of an existing single storey warehouse building with new external vertical access ladder to south elevation at the existing facility and associated site works on an Integrated Pollution Control (IPC Reg. No. P0476) licensed site for Recordati Ireland Ltd.

Construction of a below ground foul pumping station incorporating a below ground emergency storage tank, a below ground storm water pumping station, a 3.1m high control building and ESB substation, a 2.65m high chemical dosing unit, provision of a 2.15m high standby generator with acoustic barrier, a 1.5m high air handling unit with acoustic barrier, a 4m high mobile lifting gantry and a 2.4m high security fence along with indigenous plant screening. Pipework associated with the development includes a foul rising main along the R613, local roads and green fields from the foul pumping station to the Shanbally WWTP (c. 3km) as well as 3 no. short sections of pipeline (c. 136.5m in total) associated with the storm water pumping station and foul pumping station. Installation of 2 no. new reinforced concrete manhole chambers on existing pipelines will also be required. The development will also consist of all associated site work and site excavation works both above and below ground for the pumping stations, pipelines. The works will include the demolition of a derelict bungalow at proposed pumping stations site.

Permission for the erection of an IDA Ireland branded Totem sign at the site entrance and associated works at Raheens East, Loughbeg, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork. The sign will be located within IDA Ireland lands as indicated in the drawings and particulars.

An amendment to existing practices to use solvents and solid materials generated by manufacturing processes at other EPA licenced industrial facilities in Ireland as a supplementary fuel and feedstock in the existing waste treatment and recovery infrastructure at the site. The proposed development does not involve fundamental change from the present day on-site operations and will provide a beneficial alternative to the use of fossil fuel on the site. There will be no construction works associated with the proposed development. There will be no intensification of past use, no new emission points and no exceedance of the capacity thresholds and limits set in the existing Industrial Emissions licence. The proposed development is covered by an existing Industrial Emissions Directive Licence No. P0006-03. As the development refers to a modification to an establishment to which the Major Accident Directive applies information as specified in the Third Schedule of the Major Accident Regulations will be submitted with the application.

Construction of a dedicated entrance and new driveway to an existing dwelling

Permission for the installation of solar carports and ground mounted solar PV arrays. The proposed development will consist of single and double row mono-pitch solar carports over existing surface car park areas, solar panels on ground mounted frames, 1 no. single storey low voltage/medium voltage transformer unit, 2 no. spare parts containers, micro inverters, underground electrical ducting and cabling within the development site, integrated lighting for car port areas, and all associated ancillary development works, including ground works and landscaping. Construction and operational access will be via an existing entrance from the R613. The proposed development is for modifications to an establishment to which the Major Accidents Directive applies
