Development of grid system services facility within a total site area of up to 0.76 hectares, to include 1 no. single storey electrical substation building, 1 no. customer switcher gear, electrical inverter/transformer station modules, containerised battery storage modules on concrete support structures, heating, ventilation and air conditioning units (HVAC units), access tracks and new site entrance, associated electrical cabling and ducting, security gates, perimeter security fencing, CCTV security monitoring system, animal fencing, earth bund and landscaping works and all associated ancillary infrastructure on land.

10 year permission to develop an Energy Storage System, which will connect to the adjoining ESB Midleton 110kV Electricity Substation. The proposed development will have a projected life span of 30 years. The development will consist of the construction of 1) enclosed battery energy storage system within a site compound on a total of up to c.0.83 hectare site, to include: 1 no. single storey 110kV customer substation, control and switch rooms; up to 13 battery blocks on concrete support structures including heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit (HVAC units); transformer and inverter units; including access tracks and site entrance along existing roadway; associated electrical cabling and ducting; security gates, 2.6m palisade perimeter security fencing; CCTV system; landscaping works and all other associated ancillary infrastructure.

A 10-year permission for a solar farm consisting of solar photovoltaic panels on ground mounted frames, 1 single-storey delivery station, 1 single-storey transformer station, 1 single-storey spare parts storage container, construction of a new site entrance off the L - 36014 local road, internal access tracks, security fencing, CCTV, landscaping and all associated development site works. The solar panels are arranged within a total developable site area (including ancillary works) of 8.85ha at Carrigogna, Midleton, Co. Cork. This development is covered by the provisions of the Renewable Energy Directive III (directive(EU) 2023/2024) and it is important to note that the planning application may be subject to section 34D of the Planning and Development Act, as amended. When a notice issues in accordance with section34D(b), the provisions of article 26A of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 to 2025 shall apply.
