Permission for the construction of a boundary fence in the townland of Kilcloyne, adjacent to the existing Gilead Sciences Ireland facility. The fence is to be a 2.4m high galvanized wire mesh fence type, matching and connecting into the existing Gilead boundary fence.

Permission to convert the existing two-storey outhouse building to a dwelling, elevational changes, construct a new single storey link & side extension, install 3no. rooflights to existing rear roof, demolish the existing side attached domestic storage shed, install a new waste water treatment unit & percolation area, construct a new vehicular entrance & all associated site works to their property.

Construction of flood management scheme consisting of flood defence embankments, an overflow culvert, an attenuation pond, headwalls and outfalls, electrical cabinet and other ancillary works. A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.

Construction of ESB substation. The ESB substation including an adjacent switchroom will be 3.375m high, 7,650m long and 4.360m wide (change of location from that previously permitted under Pl.Reg.20/4090)

The development will consist of (1) a single storey laboratory building to include plant and equipment area, office area, meeting rooms, canteen and kitchen, staff toilets, laboratories, IT room, electrical switch rooms and store rooms. The main laboratory building is 6.1 metres high, 44.5 metres long and 21.5 metres wide with vertical brise soleil screen offset from the southern facade. (2) An ESB substation of 3.18 metres high, 4.83 metres long and 4.32 metres wide is proposed to the rear of the building adjacent to the proposed service yard to the north of the main laboratory building. (3) The proposed development also includes 19 No. new car parking spaces comprising 2 No. visitor parking bays, 5 No. car pool parking bays. 1 No. wheelchair accessible parking bay, 2 No. dedicated electric vehicle charging bays, 2 No. motorcycle parking spaces and a covered bicycle shelter. (4) The proposed site works will include a 2.2 metre high, full perimeter security fence with new vehicular entrance gate and pedestrian turnstile entrance to the south east corner of the site, new entrance/exit to the proposed site, internal access roads pedestrian pathways, underground and overhead utilities, landscaping and all other associated site works.

The construction of a new and upgraded entrance to replace existing agricultural entrance. The new entrance is required to access lands zoned industrial.
