For ground-mounted and roof-mounted photovoltaic solar panels with a maximum square metreage of 1,450 m2 distributed over closed tanks and buildings combined with associated ancillary works
For the upgrade works includes for pH correction of the existing treated water which involves conveyance of the feed water via an underground pipeline, 800mm in diameter & 50m long, to a new feed water sump, located adjacent to a new pump station. The pump station, approximately 110 m2 in footprint area & approximately 6.5m high houses 4 pump sets required to pump the feed water to a set of 4 degassers, with approximate dimensions 3m in diameter 8 meters high. Following degassing, the water is dosed with chemicals & returned to the treated water storage tank via a 800mm in diameter and approximately 50m long underground pipeline. Provision for overflow & draining has been allowed for from the sumps (treated & raw water) to the existing wastewater lagoon via a underground pipeline connecting to the existing plant liquid residuals collection network. Six new tanks varying in diameter from 3-5m with a maximum height of 7m, are required to store chemicals for the new treatment process. An existing road will be extended by 120m, between 5 - 12m wide, to facilitate the delivery of chemicals to the new footprint. A new pipeline, 200mm in diameter, approximately 150m long, is required for additional residual treatment in an existing tank. This application includes a Natura Impact Statement
