Permission is sought for development which will consist of: (a) Construction of new 228.24 sqm single storey flat roof extension to west elevation of existing detached 2 storey building (National Metrology Laboratory) to be clad in a new metal panel system to closely match existing to consist of storage area and 1 no. laboratory; (b) Forming of 2 no. x new opes to western elevation of existing building at ground floor level for access into new extension; (c) New external glazed canopy to front (1 no.) and to rear (1 no.) to new extension to closely match existing. (d) All associated landscaping works by the National Standards Authority of Ireland.

To demolish an existing rear single storey utility room, lean to boiler room and the existing rear single storey kitchen extension comprising a combined total of 25 m2 and to erect a new single storey extension to the rear and part (east) side elevation at ground floor to provide a total of 45 m2 of floor area providing a net increase of 20 m2 at ground floor, a new rear first floor extension comprising 14 m2, the removal of a length of 5 m of existing railings to the side elevation to accommodate the new side extension and the raising of the rear east garden wall in part to enable the formation of a new gated entrance to the rear garden to the existing east garden wall at at 2 Cremore Road D11 A6C9 (on the corner with Cremore Park), Glasnevin, Dublin 11.

To remove an existing velux window to the rear roof to an existing attic room and in its place to construct a flat roof dormer window to the rear roof, to install 1 velux roof light window to the front elevation roof to the existing attic room and to increase the opening size of an existing obscured glazed window to the side/east facing gable wall with a new larger obscured glazed window.

Planning permission for proposed 1) single and 2 storey extension to rear. 2) 1st floor extension to side. 3) New dormer roof and window at attic level to rear. 4) Demolition of existing single storey kitchen area to rear - 8.5 sq. M and all associated site works.
