Planning precedent report

The development consists of a planning application for the continuance of permission for a dog grooming parlour and for all associated site works. This application is on foot of a previously application Reg. Ref. 4224/18.

RETENTION:Retention permission for the flat roofed structure which forms an outdoor terrace (26.41m2) an extension to the existing garden building (20 sq.m) retained as a permanent structure to the rear lane ancillary to the residential use of the house and site.

The development to be retained consists of the following: A) Single storey ground floor flat roof rear extension to the existing dwelling (13sqm), B) All associated connections to existing services and hard landscaping.

Single storey extension to the rear and change of use from ground floor hairdresser salon to ground floor apartment.

Permission is sought for change of use of existing hairdresser salon 21.6 sqm (ground floor) to sitting/amenity room provision first floor apartment unit.

RETENTION PERMISSION for the following:- the change of use of approved office on first floor to use as childcare facility which is an extension of the existing childcare facility on the ground floor, plus ancillary accommodation including changing area, wc's.
