PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for works to return an existing 2 storey mid terrace house, a protected structure (RPS:7319), from its current use as a multi-occupancy dwelling to its original use as a family home, exempted development under class 14 (E) of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001. Works consisting of: a) Demolition of part of a modern ground floor single storey rear side extension and rear boiler room, b) Modification to a modern ground floor single storey pitched roof rear extension to a flat roof with additional windows and doors, c) Replace all modern UPVC windows and doors to rear with traditional sash windows to include widening of existing rear windows at first and second floor rear return and widening of dining area door at ground floor rear, d) Incorporation of two conservation rooflights to rear return and rear main roof, e) Alterations to internal layouts, f) And all associated site development works.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: RETENTION: Retention permission to retain a single storey extension of 11.0m2 in area to the rear of property.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: The conversion of the attic of the main house and of the rear return to storage space including the provision of 3no. rear-facing Velux roof-lights and the replacement of 1no. existing rear-facing Velux roof-light to the stairwell, with an additional staircase from first floor level to the proposed converted attic storage area, all within the envelope of the existing building at 193, Rathmines Road Upper, Dublin 6, a Protected Structure (RPS No.7329).

PROTECTED STRUCTURE:PERMISSION: For a ground-floor single storey extension (10m2) to the rear of the dwelling house and its incorporation into an extant side and rear extension with an altered roof profile and side boundary treatment.

The development will consist of first floor extension over existing rear extension with zinc cladding, windows and set back at 2.2 metres from neighbouring boundary.

The development will consist of a new 11.5sq m extension to rear of house at 2nd floor level and a new 4.50 sq. m dormer extension to thr rear of the house at 3rd. floor/attic level. The proposed extensions will proviide for additional and enlarged bedrooms.
