The development consists of: The change of use of the existing dwelling to provide for ancillary family accommodation ('family flat') with associated works including (a) the provision of a two-storey side and rear extension to the existing dwelling to comprise; (i) a kitchen, a living/dining room area, a WC, cloakroom, storage area, and staircase at ground floor level and 1 no. bedroom, a bathroom, and a study at first-floor level for the proposed 'family flat'; and (ii) the provision of a new living room at ground floor level and 1 no. bedroom and 2 no. ensuite bathrooms at first-floor level for the existing dwelling. Planning permission is also being sought for (b) the demolition of an existing garden shed and hardscaping to the rear to provide for 72.5 sqm of shared private amenity including a patio; (c) a flat roof front porch extension providing shared access for both the existing dwelling and proposed 'family flat'; (d) 5 no. roof lights (3 no. serving the 'family flat' and 2 no. roof lights for the residential unit); and (e) all ancillary works landscaping and engineering work necessary to facilitate the proposed development.

PERMISSION The development will consist of the demolition of existing garage with the construction of a proposed new single storey flat roof extension to the front and side of the existing house with 3 no. roof lights.
