The change of use and amalgamation of Units 33 & 35 Artane Place from commercial to retail use. Planning permission is also sought for alterations/demolition to the units comprising: a) Partial demolition of the front (southwest) elevation in order to create a new shopfront; b) The creation of 3 no. new openings (entrance door and 2 no. glazed windows) on the southwest elevation and 2 no. new openings (exit door and roller door) on the northeast elevation; c) The removal and blocking up of existing roller shutters, windows and access doors on the southwest and northwest elevations; d) The removal of the existing roof coverings to be replaced with a new insulated metal profile roof sheeting; e) The erection of internally illuminated signage on the southwest elevation and f) Internal works to configure the units and all ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development.

Planning permission is sought for development comprising: the change of use of vacant offices at first floor level of unit 35A to use as artist studios. A total of 10 no. artist studios will be provided, all at first floor level. The existing reception (at ground floor level), kitchen (at first floor level) and WC (at first floor level) will serve the proposed studios. The development also includes any ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development.

The development will consist of a change of use of Units 41 & 42 from previous use as a gym to retail use.

Retention Planning permission for the amalgamation of Units 31A (warehouse) and 32 (Tile Sales), Butterly Business Park, Artane, Dublin 5 to form one unit (to be known as Unit 32) for the wholesale supply and sale of hair and beauty products, including all internal demolitions and alterations and the insertion of two new fire escape doors in the rear (South East) elevation.

CHANGE OF USE. (i) The change of use from office use to medical use; and, (ii) all associated internal reconfiguration works and ancillary works necessary to facilitate the development.

Change of use of Unit 40 from office use to restaurant and café use, as an extension to the existing café in Unit 37, and the construction of a glazed aluminium-framed shopfront with roller shutter in the existing elevation of Unit 40, with related signage overhead.
