RETENTION:The development will consist of Changes to previously approved planning Reg. Ref. 5023/22 mainly relating to swapping the main entrance to the school from the south to the north which includes the following; 1) relocated canopy, 2) relocated boiler room, 3) relocated heat pumps, 4)relocated bin store, 5) minor alterations to footprint, 6) internal modifications with associated changes to the elevations, 7) internal link road to the east removed, 8) ramp & parking removed, 9) main entrance swapped from the south to the north, 10) Existing railings extended on the Ballymun Road, 11) New external enclosed areas to classrooms, 12) Circa 70sq.m. of Solar PV panels to new roof to the east of the school. All with associated minor elevational changes and associated site works.

The development will consist of demolition of prefabricated units totalling 110 sq.m, construction of new single storey extensions to three separate areas of existing special needs school, totalling 781 sq.m to maximum height of 6.8m, with both flat and pitched roofs including new roof windows, a new 4.3m high canopy to the front entrance of the school, internal alterations to existing building, associated paving and pedestrian access ramps, new low retaining walls, 13 additional and 5 relocated car parking spaces, alteration/diversions to existing services and providing new and resurfaced traffic circulatory routes and reshaping of existing driveway to campus to provide for two-way traffic flow and other associated site works.

Planning Permission is sought for development at St. Michael's House Special National School, Ballymun Road, Ballymun, Dublin 9; site at the corner of Ballymun Road and Griffith Avenue. The development consists of an addition of a new single storey prefabricated building to serve as a plant room (boiler house) and a provision of external equipment (heat pumps) for St. Michael's House Special National School, with associated site development works.

Planning permission is sought for construction of a single storey extension to an existing residential care building, with ancillary site works, at 'Glenmalure', The Glens, St. Michael's House Regional Headquarters, Ballymun Road, Dublin 9 for St. Michael's House.

RETENTION:Retention of single storey granny flat replacing former shed to the south side of house.

The construction of a new vehicular access from The Rise together with a related vehicular parking area in the front garden of the existing house.
