It relates to an existing building within the Grangegorman SDZ, namely North House West and North House East which together form the 'Top House or North House', a Protected Structure (RPS Ref. No. 3282). The development or work areas for the North House West and North House East proposals measure c.0.096ha and c.0.086ha respectively. The proposed development of the North House West and permitted North House East (DCC Reg. Ref. GSDZ2346/19) relate to the Academic Hub (Phase1) development. The Academic Hub (Phase 1) will be a focal point within the campus combining the central academic library with student academic support spaces for the campus. The proposed development and amendments have been designed to comply with the Grangegorman Planning Scheme 2012 (as amended). The development is for Phase 1 of an Academic Hub comprising change of use and works to North House East (part of 'Top House or North House' (Protected Structure Ref. No. 3282)) and its integration with new build elements to accommodate a library, study areas, administrative offices, exhibition space, café and ancillary facilities with a total gross floor area of c. 10,161 sq.m. The development comprises: A. Permanent change of use of North House East to Library use (905 sq.m.). B.
