RETENTION & PERMISSION:The development will consist/consists of RETENTION PERMISSION for a single-storey flat roof extension and previously detached converted garage. PLANNING PERMISSION for the demolition of 3 no. chimneys and alterations to the rear to include new parapet walls to the top of the existing flat roof extensions and garage, with render finishes to match existing, new flat roofs to replace the existing, a new canopy with brickwork piers and a new enlarged opening at ground floor level. The development will also include a new side gate and fence to the side of the house with a new bin and bike store structure behind and associated site works. Refurbishment work will also be undertaken on the existing house.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Planning permission for development at a 0.4 hectare site at the RTE Campus, Stillorgan Road and Nutley Lane, Dublin 4. The application site which comprises of the Fair City set is located adjacent to the north eastern boundary of the RTE Campus with access off Stillorgan Road. The overall campus includes 1 no. protected structure Montrose House (RPS No. 7847) located outside the application site boundary. The proposed develoment seeks to extend the previously permitted night time filiming, two nights per week until 10pm on the Fair City set located on lands within the north eastern portion of the RTE Campus for a further period of two years in accordance with previously permitted develoment Reg. Ref. 2874/17 / ABP Ref. PL29S.248946.

Demolition of garage and part side of house and construction of new part two-storey extension to side and rear, and part single-storey extension to rear, rooflight over stairwell, bay window to front, alteration to front porch, new gate and widening of entrance gateposts.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Permission for development at a 0.41 hectare site at the RTE Campus. The application site is located within the RTE Campus which includes a protected structure Montrose House (RPS No. 7847) and proposed protected structure RTE Campus (Draft Dublin City Development Plan 2022-2028 RPS No. 8888) with access off Stillorgan Road and Nutley Lane. The proposed development seeks for a further five years, the continued operation of the Fair City filming lott in it's current location in the north eastern area of the RTE Campus (previously a car parking area), adjoining the boundary with properties on Nutley Road. Reg. Ref. 2874/17 (ABP Ref. PL29S.248946) and 3760/20 refer to the previous relevant permissions. The proposed development also seeks to extend the previously permitted night time filming (until 22.00) for two nights per week for a further five years.

The development will consist of: Removal of side flat-roofed utility area & original block sheds to rear garden. New Single storey extension to side and rear. New attic dormer conversion with 2 number dormers to front and rear elevations to provide habitable accommodation. Roof profile alterations to hipped side elevations to accommodate stair access and storage area. Elevational alterations to front, side and rear elevations to modify fenestration. Widening of existing vehicular entrance & new extended and modified entrance to front elevation. All associated site development works to a detached 2 storey dwelling.

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: RETENTION & PERMISSION: The overall campus includes 1 no. protected structure Montrose House (RPS No. 7847) located outside the application site boundary. Retention permission is sought for: • Photovoltaic panels to the roof of Stage 7. Planning permission is sought for: • Photovoltaic panels to the roof of Stage 7 (in addition to those sought for retention), the roof of the TV Centre and the roof of the Library building; • All associated, ancillary and incidental works.
